When searching for felt scratchpads, the discerning buyer knows that there are a few key elements that signal a quality product. First, dimension, that the thickness of the pad does not unduly disrupt the proportions of the home furnishing you seek to improve. Second, value, basically cheap, since you must carefully carve said scratchpads to match exactly the offending surface, and then you will toss the extras in a cabinet for later and likely lose the due to forgetfulness or children. Finally, adhesive, they must cling to the target for dear life. Sending furniture spinning across your newly waxed floor is a true pleasure, but the last thing you want is a failed bond resulting in a deep gouge and marital strife. These pads excelled in all three fundamental axes, though peeling the backing required a razor knife.
These feltpads, however I cut them to the right size, keep coming off the restaurant chairs after a while. Probably would be good at home, but definately not recommended in a restaurant, where chairs beeing used heavily.
